What to expect on the day of your jump
- Self-drive:
- Please allow up to 4 hours for the whole experience.
- Your booking time is your check-in time
- Bus transfers:
- Allow up to 6 hours for the whole experience
- Your booking time is your bus pick-up time
- The skydive:
- Once your details are confirmed you will be assigned a flight number and instructor.
- Your Tandem Master will give you a safety briefing and harness you up before heading to the plane.
- There is a 20-minute flight to altitude with spectacular views.
- Experience 60 seconds of exhilarating freefall at speeds of up to 200 km/h
- Enjoy 5-7 minutes under parachute. Ask your instructor to take a turn at flying the parachute if you are feeling adventurous!
- If you add the optional beach landing to your booking it will be the cherry on top! You will be landing on Kurrimine Beach, right by Kings Reef.
Exclusive beach landing
You can choose to jump over the Great Barrier Reef and land on Kurrimine Beach as an optional extra. This is the closest beach skydive to Cairns. Not only that, Kurrimine is one of the closest beaches to the Great Barrier Reef, you can walk out to King Reef when the tide is low!
Video and Photos
- Skydive video and photo packages can be included at the time of booking or when you arrive for your skydive.
- Your video footage and photographs will be sent to your email within 1-2 days after your skydive experience.

Family and friends
- Let your loved ones be part of your unforgettable adventure. Your family and mates are invited to join you, capturing snapshots and footage as you hop on the aircraft and touch down with your parachute. If you’ve opted for a booking with bus transport, give us a ring to check if there’s room for your companions on the bus.
What to wear/bring with you
- Wear comfortable clothes suited to the day’s weather, keeping in mind it’s a bit cooler at 14,000 feet.
- Proper footwear is essential – trainers or running shoes are ideal. Flip-flops or sandals aren’t allowed during freefall.
- We’ll provide you with goggles, including larger ones if you wear glasses.
- Try not to eat a large meal just before your skydive.
- We suggest applying sun cream and drinking plenty of water.

- Finalise your payment through our protected and coded online checkout system.

- Once your booking is complete, we’ll send you an email with all the specifics and guidance for your skydive day.
Changes and cancellation policy
- Should we be unable to jump due to weather or other unexpected issues, we’ll reschedule your skydive at no extra cost.
- Need to change your skydive date? Let us know at least 48 hours before your scheduled time, and we’ll adjust it without any additional fees.
- For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the jump time, a $100 per person cancellation fee will be charged.
- If you cancel your jump within 24 hours of your booked time, you’ll forfeit your skydive payment.
Minimum requirements to skydive
- Minimum age is 16 years old
- Those under 18 need written permission from a parent or guardian.
- No upper age limit (we welcome thrill-seekers in their 70s and 80s!)
- A basic level of fitness and good overall health is necessary for safety. If you’re unsure about meeting the minimum requirements, get in touch for a personal assessment.
- The maximum weight allowed is 115kg. Please note there’s a weight surcharge for 95kg+.
- 95 – 99kg > +$25
- 100 – 109kg > +$50
- 110 – 115kg > +$100
