Skydive Great Ocean Road with Video and Photos:
- Your Tandem Master will wear a wrist-mounted action camera throughout the experience, capturing breathtaking footage of your jump. You will receive a selection of 100+ photos and a 5-minute video edit via email within 24-48h.
Skydive Great Ocean Road with Ultimate Video Package
- In addition to the wrist-mounted camera of your instructor, a second instructor with a helmet-mounted camera will film your freefall as an “outside camera”. You will receive a selection of 100+ photos and a 5-minute video edit with footage from both cameras.

- Photographs only: your tandem instructor will sport a wrist-mounted action camera capturing images of your entire adventure. You’ll be sent a collection of over 100 photos via email within 48h.
- Video and Photographs: along with the photos, you’ll receive a five-minute video edit with music.
- Ultimate Video Package: an additional instructor will wear a helmet-mounted camera to film your skydive from an external perspective. You’ll be provided with photos and a video edit featuring footage from both cameras.
Our skydiving operation in Torquay
- Formerly known as Australian Skydive and Torquay Skydivers, now part of SKYONE, Aussie family-owned and operated for over 50 years and the most experienced skydiving company in Australia.
- We have a self-contained skydiving centre in Torquay, which means that you don’t need to take a bus to the take off or from the landing area. Family and friends can hang out, watch you board the plane and land under a parachute just a few meters away from the action.
- SKYONE Great Ocean Road instructors are licensed under the Australian Parachute Federation with thousands of jumps each.
- At SKYONE our safety is our top priority. Our professional riggers meticulously inspect all gear, and our aircraft undergo regular maintenance by our team of engineers.
What to expect on the day of your jump
- Self-drive:
- Please allow up to 2 hours for the whole experience.
- Your booking time is your check-in time
- Bus transfers:
- Allow up to 4 hours for the whole experience
- Your booking time is your bus pick-up time
- The skydive:
- Your reservation time is your arrival time, so please proceed to our welcome desk where our team will direct you through the subsequent stages.
- You’ll be assigned a flight number and paired with an instructor.
- Your Tandem Instructor will provide a safety overview and help you into your harness before heading to the aircraft.
- There’s a 20-minute ascent to jump altitude with breathtaking scenery over the ocean and the Great Ocean Road
- Enjoy 60 seconds of thrilling freefall at velocities reaching 200 km/h
- 5-7 minutes gliding under canopy. If you’re feeling daring, ask your instructor if you can try steering the parachute!
- Share your Skydive certificate to show you’ve leapt from a perfectly functional airplane!
What to wear/bring with you
- Leave all reasons not to jump behind and bring good feelings and bravery to feel the thrill of your life.
- Wear comfy clothes that fit the weather on the day. Keep in mind it may be colder up high.
- You must wear shoes that cover your whole foot, like trainers. No flip-flops or sandals allowed during the skydive.
- We’ll give you goggles, with big ones if you wear glasses.
- Try not to eat too much just before your skydive.
- We suggest putting on sun lotion and drinking lots of water.
Booking and payment
- Use our secure and encrypted online checkout to complete your payment.
- You can skydive now and pay later with AfterPay or Zip. Please contact us to get your order started on the phone.
- Upon completion of your order, you will receive an email with all details and instructions for the day of your skydive.
Changes and cancellation policy
- If we can’t jump because of weather or other issues, we’ll book you in again at no cost.
- If you need to change your skydive date, please tell us at least 48h before your set time and we’ll change it without extra fees.
- For changes made less than 48h before your jump time, there is a $100 fee per person.
- If you cancel your jump less than 24h before your set time, you’ll lose your payment.
Minimum requirements to skydive
- Minimum age is 16 years old
- Those under 18 need written permission from a parent or guardian.
- No upper age limit (we welcome thrill-seekers in their 70s and 80s!)
- A basic level of fitness and good overall health is necessary for safety. If you’re unsure about meeting the minimum requirements, get in touch for a personal assessment.
- The maximum weight allowed is 115kg. Please note there’s a weight surcharge for 95kg+.
- 95 – 99kg > +$25
- 100 – 109kg > +$50
- 110 – 115kg > +$100
