Meet the team
Phil Onis
Since the 1970s Phil has been at the heart of Australian Skydiving. In the 90s he took over the Wilton Skydive Center, later known as Sydney Skydivers. Over the last few decades he expanded to multiple locations with 1300SKYDIVE, prior to its rebrand to SKYONE in 2024.
Still an active instructor and pilot, Phil has logged more than 39,000 skydives and over 4,000 hours of flight time in planes and helicopters.
Cindi Hemmila
Cindi started skydiving in 1985, and eventually became our Chief Instructor. With a vast experience and more than 12,000 skydives to date, Cindi is very strict about safety, yet absolutely bonkers about having fun. You will not find a more passionate skydiving boss south of the equator, whether it is doing tandem skydives, teaching AFF students or training new skydiving instructors.
With decades in the sport and over 50,000 skydives combined, Phil and Cindi hand-pick every team member at SKYONE. That’s experience you can trust.
